| 2001 Tabletop Performance Awards |
|
| Foodservice Equipment & Supplies 2001 Tabletop Performance Awards attracted an unusually large number of note worthy design entries for this year's competition. However, the blue-ribbon group of tableware experts who joined as judges were given instructions that awards were to be given only if, in their judgment, an installation had achieved the standard of excellence that we set. Entries were judged on how successful the tabletop elements supported the concept or theme of a new or redesigned operation, a change in menu or overall concept, and how functional they were in daily use. As a result, judges decided that they would issue awards in just two of five possible categories, based on the pattern of submitted entries. |
